Funds collaborative, multi-country research projects that advance Africa's science, technology and innovation priorities and contribute to inclusive and sustainable development across the continent.

Funding amount

CAD 50000 to 300000 per consortium member

Eligibility

A consortium must include one lead organisation and two to four co-applicant organisations from participating SGCI countries, which include South Africa. Each partner must nominate a full-time principal investigator and meet the call’s national, institutional and thematic requirements.
